Linen Drawer: Knit Me A Blanket

Camilla Swart, of Linen Drawer, asked the question: How and when did people start knitting?

As it turns out – no one knows. Fragments of knitted socks have been found dating back to around 1000 AD. However, we got it so detailed and intricate that it was clearly a product of “knitting culture”.

Stockings and stockings were one of the first knitted products. The real advancement and spread of knitted garments began in Europe around 1400 AD. There are even Madonna knitting paintings. That’s a great endorsement!

Camilla says: I really don’t know who knitted the first blanket. But they must have realized that it was a good invention. FLEXIBLE, SOFT, WARM AND SUPPLE – Knitting exudes comfort and warmth.

Throwing horizon

The Horizon Throw was the first knitted blanket Linen Drawer developed. It was the moment of success. The combination of practicality and beautiful appearance make it a great gift. It’s a beautiful blanket, cozy baby blanket and comfy throw!

Harmony blanket

These steps are followed by Blanket Harmony. Knitted with an attractive moss stitch in pure cotton, it’s a hit. What’s more, Harmony blankets are machine washable and dryable, and they’re available in trendy shades of coral, new stone, slate, and denim blue.

Washing and handling enhance the soft, cozy luxury of these knit blankets. So every bed should have a bed; Every patio should be tucked away or folded for use on cool evenings. And each child must have at least two; While every grandmother should definitely have one to snuggle her grandkids in.

Knitted blankets are here to stay. They then make perfect sense in our hectic and rushed lives. Moreover, we need their comfort, warmth and soft comfort.

A toast to the first weaver! There, in the ether, we salute you!
