Villa Broeck by Bedaux de Brouwer Architecten
Villa Broeck is a new project by Bedaux de Brouwer Architecten. This contemporary 5,360 square foot residence is located next to a nature reserve in Holland. The interior design features an open plan that maximizes space and natural light. This is not the first project from this studio that we have featured. You may also remember their Villa Rotonda project in Goirle as well as their Outside in House.
Villa Broeck is a detached private residence next to a nature reserve in the Netherlands. In this natural setting, Bedaux de Brouwer Architecten designed the building, garden and interior. The plot is situated between a series of detached houses built along a crescent.
Villa Broeck has the same shape as the surrounding volumes, yet it has been rotated 90 degrees relative to its neighbours. The transverse placement of the building creates a dramatic elevation to the street as well as a beautiful view of the landscape behind the house. Furthermore, two private spaces are created: a patio as the entrance and a sunken patio in the garden.
A lower space was built next to the main building, housing the kitchen. The residences, garden and interior are designed with great coherence resulting in a series of intimate spaces and venues that offer serenity and intimacy in the midst of stunning landscapes.
